rlmesh_workload_record_total_steps

Required strings cannot be NULL. Records copy values without adding validation beyond C representation. Child lists: NULL/0 = empty, NULL/nonzero or a NULL element is refused. _get returns a new owned snapshot; i >= len is ERR_INVALID_ARGUMENT. Scalars/lengths return zero on NULL. Optional reads return false for None. _to_dict returns an owned DICT; _repr returns owned UTF-8 bytes.
